Politics and Culture - June 2011

There is no greater decision for a man or woman in a position of leadership to make than the decision to engage in or stand against war.

In a modern culture addicted to quick and concise decisions it’s become far too easy for many people in the conversation to take complex issues and bundle them into yes or no answers

Contradictions in the Conversation

June 26th 2011 09:33
Part of the price that comes with living in a society that hold’s the importance of convenience over the basic principles of common sense is dealing with the destruction caused by contradictions used as societal facts.

In a world ruled by extremes and obstacles that appear to be un-movable it’s become far too easy for the majority of civilization to sit on their hands and think they are making a difference.

All my life I have had to deal with stereotypes

Part of the unspoken agreement that comes with living in an industrialized society is the false expectation that all members must live within a continuous web of lies to shield a closet full of ugly truths.

Lies dressed up in the finest clothes as fabrications about the level of danger citizens living in modern society face on a daily basis and the hollow words from politicians that continue to deliver promises about keeping things the way they are or making things like they were without asking supporters to make crucial sacrifices

All across the United States of America the effects of an election year are beginning to pollute what should be logical conversations.

Conversations that require a tough approach in order to solve problems that should have been taken care of decades ago have been replaced by the simple two letter word “No
