Fire & Rescue Awareness Month

In every community across the nation there is a breed of heroes who are standing in wait to help their fellow man, woman and child with the call of service answered at the simple push of three buttons on a telephone pad.
Heroes who will burst into our homes, with no concern to their own safety, to save us from the danger of fire or to protect us from undue harm from other men or the perils of nature.
The visions of 911 showed us the strength and courage of these men and women who selflessly rushed into buildings they knew could collapse at any moment as a nation in shock marveled at their heroism.
In the month of January Awareness Event is dedicating their philanthropic efforts to honoring these men and women in the Fredericksburg Virginia Community and Beyond.
A celebration of service that will begin at Buffalo Wild Wings Fredericksburg with a Firehouse Dance Party that will donate 10% of sales to Fredericksburg Area Volunteer Fire Departments.
10% of sales to Volunteer Fire Departments as we welcome back DJ The Don to rock the house in the first of three events dedicated to the men and women that serve the Fredericksburg Area's Fire and Rescue Needs.
While we could have limited the celebration of Awareness to a one night event we felt the only way to truly honor these modern day heroes was to extend the celebration into a three night celebration that will continue January 22, 2010 with a second dose of the Firehouse Dance Party Featuring DJ The Don and a Month Ending Fire and Rescue Benefit Show on January 29th, 2009.
The Fire and Rescue Benefit Show will be a community event as we welcome Lola The Clown who is the headliner of the weekly Thursday “Kids Night” Series at Buffalo Wild Wings for a special Friday night event to raise Safety Awareness for kids.
An event that begins January 22, 2010 at 6:00pm to kick off the final night of celebration which will feature a fire, rescue and police wing eating contest with the winning team receiving 10% of sales donated to their organization as well as all net proceeds from the $5.00 cover charge.
Buffalo Wild Wings Fredericksburg is located at 1638 Carl D Silver Parkway Fredericksburg, VA 22401. All events are strictly 18 and up beginning at 9:00 pm and will have a $5.00 Cover Charge.
