Awareness Event Band Line Up Change
July 24th 2009 19:37
It is with a heavy heart that I must announce a change in the Awareness Event lineup of musical performers.
It was made known to me and the other people working to make the Awareness Event a possibility that Rude Buddha is no longer a band.
As I have always said in my postings from week to week progress is not measured by individuals or certain things happening but rather in the power of the human spirit to strive for true change and helping our fellow man.
With this said we must move forward and remember everything Rude Buddha gave back to the DC area through their philanthropy and inspiration.
It is with this spirit that we must also stay the course and remain focused on the goals that started this movement.
September 18, 2009 will still be a night of celebration and awareness as the community bands together to raise funds to eradicate the number one killer of women in the world.
The task of filling the shoes of a mega band the likes of Rude Buddha will not be easy but we are enlisting an Army of talent to ensure this night will be a success for all those who come out to support the cause.
Keep checking back for updates and additions as they will come with expediency and full force.
Your support and patience is appreciated through these times of change and I am looking forward to the good things that will come when the community comes out to support the cause of eradicating Breast Cancer!!!
