15 Minutes of Fame Charity Show This Friday

As with every good thing, there must be a beginning and an inevitable end.
The ending that will come this Friday is a culmination to a series of events that helped to raise money and awareness for important causes.
Causes that received food, clothes and money thanks to the generosity of all those who came out in support of all the Awareness Events that took place in 2009.
To cap off the great things that have already happened we have put together a special event to commemorate this cause.
An event that will serve as a blend of the entertainment that happens in every city and town and across the country…
Entertainment the likes of Comedy Nights, Karaoke Lounges, DJ Dance Parties and Club Atmosphere.
It was in this mixture that the 15 Minutes of Fame Charity Show has been created.
For the past 3 months we have been on a mission to locate the very best in talent in the region to create a show the Fredericksburg area will never forget.
A show that will feature the very best in Karaoke, Dance and all other talents in a spirit of competition…
This show is an 18 and over event with a $5.00 cover charge which will take place at Buffalo Wild Wings located at 1638 Carl D. Silver Parkway Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
Through this competition a special group of men and women will be competing for a cash prize and fame.
To support the Karaoke portion of the competition we have enlisted the help of the Karaoke Frenzy and DJ Company.
Professionals in the industry who will guarantee all of our competitors have the songs of their choosing with a state of the art sound system and singing equipment.
Any fame achieved this night will come by way of crowd support through donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation as opposed to something as simple as crowd applause.
Limited free sign up is still available for this event at Buffalo Wild Wings for all those who would like to help support this cause while also competing for cash.
A cause that will raise needed money for an organization dedicated to helping childrens wishes come true…
A wish that may be the last in a young life that has only known physical pain and discomfort but has never lost their smile and lust for what little life they have known.
Beyond the competition will also feature the return of DJ The Don.
Once a mainstay in the Fredericksburg region this master of the ones and two’s is now back to rock out the house for a worthy cause.
A cause that will feature a ground breaking competition as well as a night of entertainment and fun the Fredericksburg community will never forget.
Through these events it was never our goal to build a monopoly or to create some new form of monetary gain.
From beginning to end Awareness Event 2009 has been and will always be about finding new avenues to raise money and awareness for worthy causes.
Causes that may not be receiving the mainstream attention that they so desperately deserve…
The only way for these dreams of helping to come to reality is by way of support from each and every one of you.
Support by way of coming out to enjoy the best in entertainment and support by way of taking advantage of the opportunity that stands in front of you to win cold hard cash by way of helping a worthy cause.
This Friday, December 11, 2009 may be the last time for these opportunities to be taken and I am hoping each and every one of you will answer the call if you are able to do so.
