Cuts for Cancer: A Day of Celebration in Virginia for Children with Cancer

When the clock strikes noon on Monday, November 2nd, 2009 it will mark a time of celebration that will kick off in Northern Virginia.
Celebration in honor of children who have recovered from the greatest fight mankind has ever known.
Cancer in its many forms has no discrepancy for age, race, gender or socio economic class and also has no mercy when it strikes friends, loved ones, co-workers or fellow world citizens.
It is for this reason that I am proud to invite each and every one of you to Exsalonce Salon and Day Spa located at 60 Susa Drive Suite #119 in Stafford, VA for an event that will directly impact the cause of helping young survivors of this diseases wrath.
A disease that leaves its victims weak and scarred after chemo therapy treatments…
What we will be doing at this event is raising money and collecting hair to create wigs for children who are recovering from Cancer Treatments.
Wigs that have found themselves unaffordable after families have given everything out of their pockets for treatments that helped their child survive in the face of battle.
What we are asking for is for you to make it down to Exsalonce Salon and Day Spa in Stafford Virginia between the hours of Noon and 5 on the day before Election Day.
If you are not able to make it to this event, donations to help this cause will be collected and appreciated anytime during Exsalonce Salon and Day Spa’s normal business hours.
If you have hair to donate, it will be clipped by a professional hair designer and put into a bag to help in the creation of a wig. No matter how much or how little you have to give it will all go to help the cause.
With this haircut we are also asking for a $20.00 donation that will be used to help create wigs for children with Cancer. The main thing we need is your helping hands to help us in the fight. Helping hands to donate money and or hair to the cause of helping a child adjust to life after fighting for survival.
If you do not have hair to donate your $20.00 donation will still be welcome and used to help in the creation of wigs for Children recovering from Cancer.
The key in all of this is to gather the community together to help us in the cause through donation of hair and or money to help children. Help that may not have been attainable without the kindness and generosity of communities across the nation and the helping hands of individuals like you.
