Trading in This for That in the Immigration Debate

A war is brewing on the streets of the United States of America and many of the fighters are suffering from a lack of understanding in how it began or where it’s going.
A war that is pitting neighbor against neighbor in a struggle to erase and preserve the past of a nation founded by the descendants of immigrants from foreign lands.
Men, women and children from across the globe who all came to a place that promised opportunity and freedom for themselves and the future generations of their family.
From this opportunity also came a duty that fell on the shoulders of elected officials in Congress and the Oval Office to ensure that the system of immigration is fair and just to the Men and Women who made the sacrifice of leaving their of way of life to become part of the American story while also protecting resources in the United States of America.
