Fighting For Monica Fund Salsa Dance Party This Friday

On the heels of closing out a successful Awareness Rock Show Series the time has come to begin a new tradition.
A tradition that will begin and end with direct action for one of our own…
This Friday December 04, 2009 will serve as the day we kick off the Fighting for Monica Fund Salsa Dance Party Series.
A series of events that is surrounded by a spirit of love and support for a Fredericksburg area native caught in the grips of a lifelong battle with a crippling disease.
Monica’s story is an in depth journey that truly displays the definition of what it means to be a fighter but like any fight in this life she needs the support of her hometown to win the overall war.
A war that has given her countless victories in battle by way of defeating the odds in survival and being able to have the miracle of a child that doctors said would never be a possibility.
This Friday, the offensive will begin at Buffalo Wild Wings which is located at 1638 Carl D Silver Parkway in Fredericksburg, Virginia beginning at 9:00 pm.
This night of celebration will feature the sounds of DJ Manny who will be rocking out all of today’s hits with a little Latino Flavor.
Latino Flavor by way of Meringue, Salsa and Reggaeton to create a different spin to the humdrum of Fredericksburg area nightlife.
As with all of our Awareness Events this will be an 18 and over event with a five dollar cover charge in which all net proceeds will go directly to the Fighting for Monica Fund to help her differ medical costs and provide for her family while getting needed treatments.
The time to get involved to help one of our own is now.
You can do this by way of coming out to enjoy the best in entertainment while helping a worthy cause.
