Obesity, Cancer and Diabetes are three of the greatest plagues on modern society.
Plagues that have taken millions of lives and sickened millions more.
The existence of a problem that doesn't have an easy answer has caused panic and disruption in a society spoiled by the belief that technology can cure any disease.
The same technology that created the problem with the invention of chemicals and processing that took human beings away from living natural lives; is the technology that is preventing the human race from seeing the answers that continue to hit us squarely in the face.
The obesity epidemic has very little to do with the amount of exercise we are getting, the size of the Big Gulp we can purchase at our local 7-11 or the bag of Cheetos little Jimmy scarfs down while playing his favorite video game.
The obesity epidemic exists and continues to thrive because of the way we approach the problem.
Instead of using the tools of practical thought, communication and dissemination of information to encourage moderation, using knowledge from independent research into the chemicals that are in the food labeled as safe and changing our societal habit of simply labeling food as healthy and un-healthy we revert to simply telling people no.
The word no without any explanation is the most dangerous word in the english language because it loses it's meaning.
The only way to win the fight against ourselves is to change the way we approach the battle.
Diabetes, cancer and obesity are all preventable diseases that have overtaken the human population because of the things we are putting into our bodies.
Simply telling someone not to eat this or to eat less of that has become an exercise in over information that has blinded millions of people to the chemicals in the plants, animal products and bi products that are deemed safe by government agencies.
To stop any epidemic a society has to decide they want to stop it.
Saying that we want to eradicate childhood obesity, cancer and diabetes is not enough.
We must go a step further by educating ourselves on the issue and applying it to our individual lives.
The cure for the World Health Epidemic that is taking away thousands of lives every day is in our hands if we choose to step outside of ourselves to make a difference.
Plagues that have taken millions of lives and sickened millions more.

The Political Brief
The government needs to get back to it's own business and leave the rest to us. Goodness knows it's isn't very good at anything these days.

Oldies but Goodies From Campaign 08
It all comes down to an individual decision to improve your own and your families lifestyle.
No amount of government intervention can change this fact.
