Bridging the Gap “Racial Politics”

Hidden behind the bravado and radical conversation about gender, sexuality, religion, race and other social issues is a hidden discussion about the fundamentals of the big two political parties.
A conversation that never begins with the principles of states rights vs. the ideals of federalism but always kick starts with a dialogue about the issues that hit closest to home.
Issues that detail a history of discrimination that was fought for or against by political figures and have forever been engrained in the American conscience as identifiable symbols of the Republican and Democrat Party.
Both the Republican and Democrat Party have war wounds and medals to show for their part in the social history of suffrage, gay rights and civil rights.
