A philosopher once said that the best way to move something forward is to go back to the beginning.
Three short years ago, a man forced to fight against circumstances beyond his control began a weekly conversation about politics, social culture, media and life through a blog on Myspace.
From this weekly discussion, a revolution began to seek out a deeper conversation about the world we live in and the questions that aren’t being asked.
On this day I am proud to announce that this revolution will now be moved to the Khalfani King YouTube Channel beginning Christmas Day Sunday December 25th, 2011.
One week, before the world comes together in celebration of the New Year there will also be another reason to celebrate as we begin to move forward on the next phase of the Revolution that will bring more people into the conversation that is about more than a single political party, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, national origin, socio economic class or any of the other devices that are used to divide us in an age of extremes.
While waiting for the premiere of the first episode, be sure to check out the hundreds of other blogs already posted on www.politicsandculture.net
Thank you for all your support over the past three years.
Through these blogs I have had many conversations with people I am proud to be connected with and many debates with people I have been proud to share a conversation with.
We may not always agree on every issue but there is something to be said about the wonderful things that happen when channels of communication are opened to reach a common goal.
