The sight of broken glass ceilings, historical milestones and the birth of Radical Independence.
Somewhere in between the most historical, most closely contested and most heated Democratic primary in history and the inauguration of our first African American President I found my voice.
Inspired by pop culture, modern day politics, history and a burning rage from a government that stopped working for the people. This voice set out to slice through the BS and find common sense approaches to understanding we're facing as Americans.
Problems that go beyond liberal or conservative political philosophies, sins of our nations past, historical inaccuracies and religious influence in government but rather down to the grassroots levels of how we live our daily lives.
Week after Week and Month after Month I tackled these issues one by one looking to build a coalition of open minded individuals to increase my understanding of how the situation went so wrong.
The answer to that question is still unclear but what these writings portray is the bedrock for my Radical Independence and understanding during Campaign "08" and still continues today with my current blogs.
"The only way we're going to survive a crisis of this magnitude where the fundamentals of the way we live our lives are facing catastrophic change is by finding the things that unite us instead of dividing us."
This is my goal and my pledge is to achieve this by not by giving free passes, double speak, spin or double standards and my ultimate hope is to create a wide open conversation for all of America spanning from the left, right and everything in between.
