Fredericksburg “Pink Out”: The Fight for a Breast Cancer Survivor
January 29th 2010 12:45
One short week ago the announcement was made to lay the foundation for a month of philanthropy and hope for a Breast Cancer Survivor.
A month dedicated to raising money for Sarah Love to give aid in just one of many battles against the disease that came into her life eight years ago.
In this fight we have not only enlisted the very best in entertainment for two nights of celebration but have also enlisted the help of Happy Endings Bar & Grill in Fredericksburg, VA to help us in rallying the entire community together in a month long celebration.
A rally based around the premise of bringing together helping hands…
Helping hands in the community that are able to make it into Happy Endings any day or night during the month of February to help the cause by way of donating money directly to the Sarah Love Fund or by way of ordering one of the two food items chosen as fundraisers.
For every order of Deluxe Nachos or the selected “Ta Ta” drink at Happy Endings Grill & Bar located at 1315 Princess Anne Street Fredericksburg, VA $1.00 will be donated directly to the Sarah Love Fund during the entire month of February.
The generosity of this establishment has allowed us to wage a true grassroots campaign to bring together all members of the community who are looking to help the cause.
The cause of building awareness for a disease that has touched the lives of millions of men, women and families across the globe in the creation of a worldwide movement to find a cure.
In that fight for a cure we have a unique opportunity to help one of our own in the Fredericksburg Area who needs our help.
Our help by way of opening our hearts to a situation that has taken away Sarah Love’s ability to work while trying to stay on top of mounting medical bills…
In a world of social networking it’s easy to glance at an event invite without reading the merits behind it and hit the “ignore” or “no” button but in this case our grassroots cause is about more than one night or a single event.
The cause is about an entire month dedicated to raising money and awareness to benefit the life a survivor.
A survivor who did nothing more than win the fight against a disease that has taken away the lives of too many and now has to face this disease again.
