Awareness Fridays: A Call to Action to Help Children and Families in Need

A few short weeks ago, we made an announcement concerning a weekly event dedicated to helping worthy causes.
From this announcement, the doors of opportunity opened for charities across the Fredericksburg, VA Region and beyond to to raise needed funds for important causes on a weekly basis.
We are now in week three of this fundraising endeavor and I am calling upon each and every one of you to lend a helping hand to the charity that will be kicking off the first full month of Awareness Fridays.
This organization is named Carter’s Crusader’s in honor of Carter Harris who died at the age of 6 from Pediatric Brain Cancer.
Carter’s story is not unique as there are hundreds of thousands of children and families who are given the news of a battle that must be waged against Pediatric Cancer each and every day in the United States of America alone.
The goal of Carter’s Crusader’s is to give these families assistance during the most difficult times any mother, father, brother or sister must go through.
What we are doing is working with Carter’s Crusaders to spread the word about the cause of helping families in need and helping to find a cure throughout the month of August and are asking for your support in one of 5 nights of Celebration at Smokey Bones Bar and Fire Grill in Fredericksburg, VA.
Featured at these events will be Karaoke courtesy of Exophonic Entertainment, Raffles and Give Away’s from Local Vendors.
While this event is 21 we do have a few spots available for men and women who would like to support the cause between the ages of 18 and 20 years old.
There will also be a $5.00 Cover Charge in which all net proceeds will be donated to Carter’s Crusader’s.
When it comes to helping our fellow man, woman and child there is no greater pleasure than enjoying a night of entertainment and knowing that our hard earned money is going to a great cause.
This is the theme behind each and every night of celebration at Smokey Bones Bar and Fire Grill located at 1801 Carl D Silver Parkway Fredericksburg, VA.
